Candidacy awarded to BTL Institute of Technology and Management by IAO.
BTL institute of Technology was established in 1997 by the BTL Educational Trust for Rural Development. The trust as well as BTL institute of Technology was founded and chaired by Prof. B.T.Lakshman, an NRI settled in USA.
BTL Institute of Technology and Management envisions to provide quality engineering and technical education and training to the students and to implant high discipline amongst them making them able to face the upcoming future professional challenges.
The institute started with 3 undergraduate programs in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Information Science Engineering, with a total intake of 180 students and increased to 540 students by introducing 3 more undergraduate programs in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering. Subsequently, MTech programs in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communications and Computer Science and Engineering were added with an intake of 18 each and recognized as Research Centres by VTU, Belgaum.
IAO appreciates the educational and training services imparted by BTL in the field of technology and engineering. This institute is firm to achieve their academic goals and focus on the development of their students mentally and ethically. IAO proudly awards BTL institute with Candidacy status and look forward to provide it full accreditation in the near future.
