Sunshine Teachers’ Training Institute (STTI) is granted the status of full accreditation by International Accreditation Organization – IAO on providing exceptional teacher education and training to teachers of handling students below 12 years.
Sunshine Teachers’ Training Institute was virtually founded by Mrs. Shakira Ahmed in the year 2008 by the name Sunshine Educational Academy, later changed to STTI, in the year 2014. The aim was to educate and train teachers in Montessori concept. The institute was started with a vision to create a platform for the teachers handling children of lower primary, from 12 years of age and below. The administration believes that the children of the Montessori level are very difficult to handle as they require special attention and care. They possess raw minds that need to be developed and pruned with quality and accurate knowledge. Children of such age group have very sensitive psychology and understanding, which should not be hurt, else the consequences may turn unfavourable.
Mrs. Shakira has trained more than 500 candidates who have been place in top reputed schools. She constantly works on upgrading the curriculum meeting the growing demands and requirements in teaching career. Every batch experiences implementation of new courses in the curriculum.
