Candidacy Status Awarded to the Center for Environmental & Public Health Research (CEPRES) By IAO

The Center for Environmental and Public Health Research is granted the status of candidacy by International Accreditation Organization.

 

CEPRES is a trademark, community and an all in one platform for health education and promotion, occupational health and safety, community health, water, sanitation and hygiene, environmental science, environmental control, and management. The objective of CEPRES is to positively influence the professionals and ethical standard of higher institutions of learning in Liberia; to provide a premier standard of tertiary education with the goal of producing exceedingly competent graduates, multipurpose environmental and health professionals, and self-reliant graduates nationally and internationally.

Established in November 2014 by Dr. Mogana S. Flomo, Jr. the institute has produced and trained young Liberians to serve as Environmental Volunteers. CEPRES is working with various communities in promoting health and environmental sanity. Activities such as waste management, water testing, and treatment, health promotion amongst other things are their major involvement with the communities.

CEPRES has marked its vision “To be a leading and unquestionable best environmental and public health institution in Liberia, the African Sub-Region and yonder.” And “To be a foremost international environmental and public health institution granting interdisciplinary instruction at Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees levels to both local and international students.”

IAO has presented the status of candidacy to The Center for Environmental and Public Health Research – CEPRES and looks forward to awarding them with the status of full accreditation in the near future. We appreciate the efforts of the Institute who look forward to educating and training young Liberians so that they can give a boost to their careers and for the betterment of the environment and the business industry. We wish them all the very best in their future accomplishments.
