IAO successfully grants candidacy to International College of Engineering and Management.
The college was established in 1995 with the name- Academy for Firefighting and Safety and then in the year 2008 it was finally changed to ICEM – International College of Engineering and Management. The college was established to train individuals on fire and safety procedures. With passage of time a diverse range of vocational and educational training courses were included in course studies. ICEM missions to extend wide access to applied high quality education, locally and internationally, in partnership with business, government, community and academia.
ICEM is internationally recognized for providing professional Higher Education (HE), Vocational training and services which meets the highest standards and accreditation. The College has a strong international, national, and local reputation for the quality of the programs and services. In the area of Vocational training ICEM offers a wide range of practical Structured Learning Programs (SLP) that provides the students the skills, knowledge and understanding to operate as a member of a team within any Civil Defense, Fire rescue, Fire prevention, Industrial, Aviation or private Emergency Response team with the aim of resolving any incident or accident, efficiently and effectively. These SLPs have been developed in line with worldwide international standards and most of the courses are internationally accredited and directly relevant to industry and to employment.
IAO was highly impressed by the sound practices being experienced at ICEM. Their approach towards training the individuals associated with the institute is really responsible and social. IAO proudly grants ICEM – International College of Engineering and Management the status of candidacy and also looks forward to provide them full accreditation for their expert services in the near future.
